Mommy and Daddy's Forever Love Day Celebration
We began a tradition last year of having our children participate in Mommy and Daddy's Forever Love Day. After their dinner, before Robert and I celebrate (he makes dinner!), they have a dessert.
This year, we put Little Robert in charge of their dessert and we were NOT at all surprised when he chose this:
So, after dinner, we watched a short movie that was made for our wedding day. The kiddos LOVED seeing all of the pictures of mommy and daddy when we were younger. We then gathered the kiddos at the table again and spoke about Mommy and Daddy's love. Then it was time for a photo op:
Followed by party time! Each kiddo enjoyed their giant cookie. There were a few meltdowns, but that is from over exhausted children. . . Next time, we will not get married on the day after Halloween!
